Before learning about methods of protection against dog attacks, you must first recognize the weakest points on the dog’s body.
On the dogโs body, like the human one, there are several places of increased vulnerability (Fig. 1). The weakest tip of among them is the nose. A strong blow with a stick, fist, bottle and anything else at this place can kill even a large dog. In addition, the nose bridge, the place of transition from the muzzle to the forehead, the base of the skull, the middle of the back, the solar plexus, and the stomach are vulnerable in dogs. The traumatic effect at these points forces the animal to abandon aggressive actions.
